Default Vtec Solenoid Seal help

I need help finding a place where I can buy a vtec solenoid seal for the top end part of it, not the actual part that fits it to the head but where the top part sits next to the exhaust cam.

They don't carry it at any of the dealerships around here, and its for a GSR. I found the seal, but are they all the same for all vtec solenoids?

Then they usually order it. Did you really check with them?

Yeah, I gave them a part number from an example I saw on here and they said they can have it by tomorrow. But how do I know if my part number is correct? I don't even need the vtec seal, more less just the top part, I was thinking of just sealing it myself with permatex or something.

Permatex=immense fail. I would go ahead and do it correctly and get the PROPER replacement part.

You need that gasket, it has a special shape sort a small round on top of a larger round, that fits into a groove, it is like 7 bucks.

This should be the part 36172-P08-015
