You have to be more specific than that about "VTEC." Do you want a VTEC engine or just a head. Which engine or which head do you want? Help us help you.

heres an idea... use the search button... you will find out what vtec is and you will learn what is involved is swapping a vtec head on a non-vtec motor... search for mini-me... seriously dude you need to search instead of making threads about pointless and stupid things

Wow, so someone doesn't know much about Honda motors and here you are jumping on him like you know damn near everything. Why don't you try to offer a little bit of advice on top of your rude, sarcastic remarks while you're at it?

nighttrain and ****** at least tried to offer some help and ask a question to better understand what he meant. The rest of you just need to grow up.

how ******* hard is it to read... Read about your car, google.com. Takes all of 10 mins to learn about your car, engine, and VTEC. Stupid people have no place in this world.

----

Definitions of VTEC on the Web:

Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control A Honda proprietary system in which cam timing, valve duration and lift is varied according to the needs of the driver -- fuel economy (normal driving) and power (pedal to the metal). Each cam has two profiles and rpm determines the shifting from one profile to the other.

that was tricky.

Then what the hell are forums like this for? Since everything is right there to read and all the answers can be found by searching... Have you ever done a search on this site? You post a topic and 10 minutes later it's 6 pages back... I hate searching for stuff in that kind of traffic.

So, someone asks a question, and they get flamed. ******** have no place in this world either. If you don't want to answer the question, or at least try to help a bit, why do you bother coming into the thread?

He didn't ask what VTEC was btw. He asked what he needed (in so many words) to put "VTEC" into his car, whether that meant a head swap or an engine swap, true, we don't know. But being an *** isn't going to help him out any.
