Default F20b/H22 Catch Can Questions-Tapping block

I have been looking for a few hours and cant find anything. I have a f20b I am fixing to mount a catch can on. I am currently boosted and the crankcase psi is crazy enough to start pushing the dip stick out. Anyway can anyone refer me to a thread or post a pic of where they might have tapped there block? I would really appreciate it.

Are you talking about tapping the block for an oil return from the catch can? Probably safer to have a return into the oil pan instead of the block.

The actual vent lines will likely come off the valve cover.

I have my vents welded in the valve cover at the rear. just above the baffle.

Exactly. baffles are in the rear on the H, then DO NOT RETURN THE CATCHCAN TO THE REAR OF THE BLOCK LIKE THE ENDYN B SERIES DEALIO...

Return it to the FRONT of the top of the pan with a -8 or 10. Under accel, the return acts like another breather tube since the fornt of the pan is pretty much evacuated for the most part. slosh will not inhibit the lines' ability to return and it actually act like another vent. Mine works FLAWLESSLY.

Does anyone have any pics of the part where you put it into the block? I dont have a catch can setup right now (only mounted). I noticed on the b series they have the 14mm allen block offs that they put fittings with outlets on. I do have a valve cover that I modded with 2 fittings on the back. Will just the valve cover work? Thanks

get a leakdown test done. what he's saying is if you have that much blowby, you might have some excessive leakdown. most likely past the rings, letting the crankcase get pressurized.

DONT tap the block. 2 -10s to the rear of the VC above the baffle, mount the can on the firewall up high enough so you can drain it back over the top of the tranny to the fornt of the pan. I use a Moroso can (Endyn) and do this. 750 WHP and never even a hint of oil on my firewall.

You can KINDOF get an idea here, sorry about the HUGE pic.... You can see the can and VC vents, and if you look close see the return going over the top of the trans down to the front of the corner of the oil pan. -10 on the ocver, -8 return... Works PERFECTLY.
