Default just tuned, critique my set up please.

let me know if these numbers are right on par for my set up or if something seems to be holding it back.
the bottom end is a stock b18c with je 9-1 pistons and eagle rods. the top end is all stock gsr all well with a blox intake manifold. the turbo kit is the go autoworks kit seen here http://www.go-autoworks-store.com/goprokit.html with a 44mm waste gate upgrade. the turbo is his bullseye go auto works spec .70 ar v band turbo as seen in the drop down box. he said its a custom turbo made for him that out spools a 50-57 trim and out flows a 60-1 at around 55 ibs a min. he claims 550 hp from this kit. my tuner is john kerr and he is more then competent to get the most from a combo with out resorting to a unsafe tune. here is the dyno graph it shows the wastgate 10 psi creeping to 14 pull and the full boost 20 psi pull. i would have thought even with the stock head it would have made closer to 450-460 but i want to hear what you guys think. it does make really good low end power so its a blast to drive as is.

The "low end" power should've been exactly as what you had before... unless you consider "low end" to be 5000+ rpm after VTEC engaged. Nice number though, board flat torque curve from 5500 all the way to redline.

by low end i meant idle to around vtec cross over, for example my last b18c build was a full race top mount and gt35r made 550 on pump and this set up is like 35-40 more ft ibs down low. but what has me scratching my head is why it peaked at 420 ish. all the parts in the build should be able to support more.

But looking at the torque curve, 110-125lbs torque from 2500 to 4500 = stock... can't be any faster in the low end hehe... anyhow, you need to ask the guy what else did he do to his setup to reach 550... might have different IM, different piston, exhaust, but even 425 on stock sleeves looks good.

i was that guy, i was talking about my last build. this build wasnt supposed to go to 500+ but i did match the parts to make it to 450 at least but something just hangs it up at 420ish

Cams and more compression would make a world of difference. Did you get your boost control issue worked out?

you are at 9-1 pistons. I don't know what compression in your other setup but if they were stock or higher than 9-1 compression that would be the issue.

yeah the vacuum line must have had debris in it i found a piece lodged in the controller.

my last set up was same compression and itr cams, i know upgrading the cams and having more compression would make a difference but that has been taken into consideration and even with it being what it is it should have went to 450 with ease. i cant help but wonder if this turbo just dont flow what he claims.
