so i just bought a del sol si thats basically a parts car and i want to put the engine in my 91 civic. what all do i need to make it happen? do i need anthing extra other than whats on the del sol? or is it a pretty straight forward swap?
This has been covered a zillion times and comes up about a hundred times a week... You have a lot of reading to do - either way it can be as easy as you make it... Here I will point you in the right direction...

well ****. alrighty so i was doing some looking on my del sol and it is using a pr4 ecu which i believe comes from an integra. it still runs fin and has v tec but has a random misfire. should i try and gt a different ecu?

alright ive got the engine out of the civic and i have everything i need exept for the conversion harness i believe im thinking of going with the boomslang obdo-obd1 harness, what else do i need? since i have the del sol and everything with it do i still need the distributor wriring harness? and is there a dpfi-mpfi conversion harness that i need to buy or will the boomslang harness have what i need to get the car running. i just dont want to have any janky wiring running my car.
what model ef civic are you putting it in? if it is a dpfi your gonna need to buy a harness from a multipoint ef, repin the current ecu harness so it works with the mpfi harness. get a boomslang for a obd1 ecu. buy a stock p28 or a chipped vtec ecu with a basemap for a z6.
