Default Wiring Harness???

ok....this may be a stupid question. I swapped a 2000 b16A2 into my ek hatch. I know that i used my sock cx harness, cause the plugs for si aren't the same? my buddy is swapping in a 2001 gsr into his EK. can we use the gsr harness? or do we have to use his cx harness? Any help...

the gsr harness may work, i dunno, but the rule is to use the harness that came with the car, and adapt it to fit the engine. that way there is no problem hooking up the interior switches.....

You CAN NOT use a DC/ EG harness in an EK chassis.

The EK uses a one piece harness, the others use a two piece harness.

CX harness will do with extra wiring.

check out http://www.jspectuning.com/6gen for help........

I dont if this will help. I swapped a 98 gsr into my 97 hatch last weekend. I had to move the wire from A14 to A12. It's the blk/blu wire for the IAC valve.
