gsr swap on a ek
im about to pull out my d16y7. everything is ready to go... until my buddy noticed the wiring harness that goes into the firewall for the ecu doesnt have any plugs. its all one peice... the harness runs straight to the motor.
now my gsr motor has the wiring harness already on the motor but it has the plugs. so im missing the part that comes out the ecu into the engine bay. its hard to explain i really need picture i know but my computer has so many stds (virus) it takes forever.
if anyone can help me out id appreciate it. thanks

shame on you for not researching beforehand, good thing you got the integra harness so you can just take what you need off of it. also wat year is the integra motor? and wat year is your car?

believe it or not a d series engine harness will plug up to a b series..its like WOW and all you need to do is add a few plugs/wires for sensors that you dont have on that harness like IABs, vtec, ks, 3wire IACV to 2wire IACV

it seems as though you had to do something similar. is this what you did, if not what did you do. what is the simplest way to solve this. we have junk yards around us but no tegs, jus alot of civics.

reuse your stock D-series civic harness, add the vtec wiring and IABs, pinouts shown below. If that GS-R harness you have is USDM I wouldn't start hacking it up for plugs, they aren't exactly easy to find and there is a high demand for them. A better idea would be to sell the GS-R harness in the H-T marketplace and go to a junkyard and cut the connectors you need from a CX/DX harness.
1996 - 1998 Civic, use this pinout:
1999 - 2000 Civic use this pinout:

if this is your first honda swap, have someone help you who has done it already.. your best bet is to buy a 99-00 si harness that has ALL the plugs right there, the only difference is that you'll be obd2b ECU plug side. so instead of obd2a conversion harness for ecu u need obd2b.
