so your trying to do a b series swap on a ek huh ??? well your gonna need a obd2 motor with engine harness because on the ek .... the engine harness goes all the way to the ecu. not like the eg when they have a 3 plug connector before the ecu. also you will need b16 motor mounts. only the 3 main mounts.

your looking into putting a obd1 motor in so you would have to put a obd2 dizzy & rewiring a few wires but you will need obd2 gsr ecu because it's a ek

This has been covered a million times before...

Use your 96 EK engine harness and modify it to fit the GSR engine. You can NOT use an integra engine harness in an EK chassis.

Ok here's what you do extend some wires if need be but get an after market intake manifold (skunk 2) so the wiring would be more similar to that of a civics cuz the Gsr uses butterfly gaynes valves on the im so all you would have to do is wire vtec if your ek doesn't already have it then get an obd2-obd1 jumper harness for the obd1 ecu then get a p28 lol that's how I'd do it

O and everything that bolts to the block will have to be obd2 (ie. The Dizzy, alternator injectors everything)

VTEC WIRING

For the wiring use your harness and buy a VTEC subharness to run wiring for VTEC/knock/IAB's.

IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE

You'll also need to convert your idle air control valve plug to two wire (see picture below):

DISTRIBUTOR

No you can use all the OBD1 components you can use a distributor jumper harness:

Alternator

For the alternator its possible you can do this:

or

INJECTORS

For the injectors this and they'll plug right in:

INTAKE AIR TEMP SENSOR

For the intake air temp sensor you'll need to do something like this into your intake:

ECU

If you end up staying OBD2 you'll need an OBD2A P72 ECU. If you go this route you'll also need an O2 extension harness to extend your secondary O2. Also you'll need to bypass the CKF sensor (http://www.ff-squad.com/technet/ckftrick.htm).

If you go OBD1 (RECOMMENDED) you'll want an OBD1 P72 ECU or chipped P28 this will delete the secondary O2 and CKF sensor and make your life a bit easier. You'll want an OBD2-1 ECU adapter in this case.
