GTX3076 vs GT3076
I've yet to see any builds besides this one using this turbo. If I've overlooked any good info plz point me to the threads.

533whp @ 16psi on this size turbo is impressive. Granted it's not the same motor but my setup took about 5psi more to make that power.

edit - just for reference, it seems like every single dyno available reads lower than a dynojet. I don't recall seeing any dyno that reads higher.
I've got a 84mm gsr, portflow head, full-race mani, 82a/r, and at 16psi I'm making 100 less whp... It took 24-25psi to get 550whp and the turbo was out of breath. How much power do you make on 24-25psi?

I don't know much about the new GTX but all I heard that it "spools faster and makes more power"
It sounds like a great turbo but it has a pretty big price tag on it.
Dynopack read higher on the hub
lol no, not in my experience. my old car was on 3 dynos, one dynapack, one dynojet, and one dyno dynamics and the dynapack was the lowest. I'm not going to say every dynapack reads lower than every other dyno, but rather every individual dyno will read different. Without personal experience you can never know what to expect from the numbers on the dyno vs real world.

Really the dirrerence between the two is the compressor wheel being billet. They are abble to get more aggresswive witha bilet wheel so they make more power on the same sized wheels is what ive been able to gather and put into easy terms
We will be testing them soon but on a S2000. I will send post the results on a couple weeks.
I don't expect it to spool faster but it will make more power as the boost starts to go up.

Get a chart showing pump (17-19psi) and then one on 25psi or whatever it tops out at assuming it runs similar pressure levels as the GT. I'm curious to see how far into 600hp it will go.
the gt3076r is all around a great turbo. the gtx is new so it hasnt really been tested yet but im sure it will be just as good if not better then the original gt30r. Also, keep in mind about the Pte billet wheels. The 62mm's are putting down great numbers and track times
