Flex pipe and IAT...did search
first, do you turbo guys use a flex pipe somewhere between the downpipe and exhaust pipe? it seems not all of you are using one, won't that create stress once the engine is on?
lastly, where is the proper way to put the IAT sensor? is it on pipe that is bolted on the t/b where the bov is also located? OR do you put it after the air filter and before the compressor? OR is there any other place? i did search and found out that people have different ways to do it and no one mentioned the proper place to put it.

It's going to be more accurate right before the tb, but on the new civics most people put it in the intake to the turbo since the sensor just presses in. You will probably blow it out of a charge pipe. And yes, you do need to either use a flexpipe or the factory donut gasket and flange.
Put the IAT on your manifold. On the type r the IAT is in the manifold. There is a way but i dont remember if there were specific parts to do this for say to a b16a2. some body help..
