Im wondering whats going on here ...When you start making boost the gauges reads up to 10 then comes down to about 7.5 it seems to be getting worse ...Wastegate spring maybe ? Anyone ? thanks

Mine does it cuz I spike w/ the large charge piping. It happens mostly in 2nd/3rd gear. Anyone?

Your losing PSI happens alot get a avc'r and you can set it to RMP boost and never lose PSI..... Alot of turbos bleb off ......... BLA BLA BLA

 

Mine does the same thing. I have a Tial wastegate with the lowest spring (5 psi) With my boost controller off it holds steady at 5 psi but when I turn it on it spikes to almost 10 then drops back down to the 6.5-7 range. I have an old Blitz SBC.

 

Boost creep is when you turbo hits your wanted psi and then keeps climbing uncontrolably. It usually happens when you exhaust flows more than your wastegate can vent causing the turbine to spin faster creating more boost. What you are discribing is a boost spike which can usually be fixed with a good boost controller.
