Why not just run a set of OEM cams ? GSR/CTR/ITR have been proven time & time again. Keep things simple...

This.

ALSO, what kind of POWER BAND do you want? This is far more important than just a really high number at 9,999 RPM.

Well if you are running a 6262 Im assuming your power goal is going to have to be greater than 500. Otherwise the turbo will not be effecient. Also as Th3pwn3r said, your cam choice will be depending on where you want your powerband. Skunk2 Pro1's would be a good choice for that size turbo if you want a power band higher up in the rpms. For a nice midrange powerband, ITR or Skunk2 tuner 1's would be great.

i have a dilemma like this i am putting together a b17 for a buddy of mine and at the last minuet we figured out we had the wrong cams for his build. they turned up to be a jun stage 3 cam. i was wondering whether anyone has used a cam with 304 degrees of duration and 12'' lift?

A set of My custom cams or Web's

This is not a good idea at all. That lift and duration will have a lot of overlap.. don't bother. Sell and get something else.

Hard to build boost when it is blowing out of your exhaust.

stage 2 turbo cams are a waste, if you did the stg 2 n/a cams they would compare to the tuner 1's

Depending upon the ramp angle. the lift and duration may be the same, but the real characteristic is found on that ramp angle

Ill be the test dummy here, because I just so happen to have stage 3 bc na cams and a fully built gsr with a 60-1 garret on it. Within a week or so ill post up dyno sheets here. I'll go ahead and say the duration on the intake cam is too long and lift on the ex cam is too high for a turbo set up... But ill get back to you next week.

Turbo's like Lift, Not duration to a point. A bigger turbo will like duration, specially in the top end, however, the centerlines need to be placed correctly. Creating too much overlap will entail blow boost out the other side.. Bigger, better flowing heads, manifolds and turbos will like bigger cams, but not necessarly NA big cams, but Turbo Big cams.. ramp rates play a role in this and people fail to realize that.. You'll make "ok" power with those cams, anything will make power, but at higher boost plots you will see problems.

That's what I was getting at with the lift and duration. But I'm still curious what those cams will do compared to gsr cams, before I put them in another build anyway...figured he asked, and I have, so ill share.
