Default No start/ code 3

OK i have a poor man type r with a p28 ecu, skunk2 intake manifold and throttle body (map sensor on bottom side). I had to drive my car thru the rain the other day. After, i disconnected my CAI from TB and found that water was everywhere. Car still ran fine tho. So i left it disconnected and kept driving. Then out of nowhere i got a CEL and my car would bog even at light acceleration. Checked the code and it was code 3 (map sensor). After i checked codes and tried to restart the car won't start with the MAP sensor plugged in. With it left unplugged it starts. You guys think maybe becuz the map is on the bottom side that it might of got shorted out by the water? Ive already tried replacing spark plugs, tried cleaning out the throttle body, and also removed the map and brake cleaned it... Thanks you guys...

I believe if the map is bad/faulty it wont turn on. I read it on a K-test forum, that states that the map is a main component like the "main relay"..(bad relay car wont turn on)
