hey guys....i wanna run hondata s300 in my civic with b18b1 swap. we tried hooking hondata s300 to it and it sounded like timming was way off and sounded like it was misfiring but as soon as we plugged in obd2b ecu it ran fine. any idea?

Yeah. It's not a plug and play system. Did you load a basemap onto it? Did you try tuning it?

 

yeah we loaded stock ls map onto s300 and it still ran like ***....it shouldve ran just fine. we also tried a obd1 p75 integra ecu and ran like *** just like s300.

 

Did you load the right map? You know you still may have to tune it right? This needs to be in the Engine Management & Tuning forum.
