Default hondata s300 issues

whats up, i have a turbo 1990 Integra ls. about 6 months ago i had the car dyno tuned it made 300 hp at 20 psi. I upgraded the exhaust and installed delta 282/272 cams. I tried to down load the tune and it is all sorts of screwed up. Im planning to have a re-tune at some point. I included a copy of the tune. has any one see this before? Im running hondata s300 v1.

I heard of issues when downloading tunes to computers that have different version of SManager than which the tune was created. Hondata has a pretty active support forum that ive seen replies to questions about tunes like youve posted...

That is SUPER corrupted and useless... this is why Hondata suggests to NEVER download directly from the ECU. Always have a copy of your current map as a backup. You don't have to re-tune at some point... you have to do it now.

Contact the tuner and have them send you the calibration file they used when they tuned the car.

You cannot download and upload reliably from Hondata, especially between software updates. Also possible that your V1 is dying which will cause it to corrupt.

The V1's memory relies on a battery that has a limited life. Once it dies, it can no longer store a calibration and won't let you download or upload. Usually the LED will turn solid red when this happens.

Upgrading to a V3 is pretty much your only option. But that won't fix your calibration, you'll still need to get the original file from your tuner, or get it re-tuned.

The first sentence is true.

The second sentence, not so much. I refurbish v1 s300 boards using genuine OEM components for only 1/5 the price of a new v3, with warranty. PM me for details. And it will make the v1 like new again, meaning it will last another ~10 years problem free.

For $100, this is a viable option if you want a low cost fix. Now, for $290 (slightly more if you live in CA)... you can upgrade from the v1 to the current v3 s300 and get a warranty AND the upgraded features on the newest system.

The upgrade form is here: https://www.hondata.com/downloads/s3...grade_form.pdf

Either way, you gotta get a copy of your original tune... or strap down to a a dyno and re-tune.
