No power coming from +12v switched source or cigarette lighter pwr wire
Ok, so I removed the radio a few weeks ago, and decided to install my a/f gauge yesterday. To make a long story short, its wired to the yellow/red +12v wire and the gauge doesnt work... I measured the current and whether the key is on or not, multimeter registers at 0v. Could this be beacuse I removed the radio??? Please help

im not sure i'm getting what your saying but the red wire is your switched volts and the yellow is constant if you got them both together than its probably crossing something out...on the other hand you might want to just check all the fuses including the one under the hood thats the one that gets everyone...check the fuse box in the hood its a 15 amp fuse if i'm not mistaking....that one blows sometimes
sorry i mean I wired the + from the red wire with yellow stripe, and Ive checked the fuse under the hood, its ok, and its a 10 amp. clock/radio are on the same fuse and the clock works.. this is why its pissing me off so much.
well that wire should be live rather or not a deck is hooked up to the wiring harness or not...my next suggestion is use a fluke meter or a continuity tester to see if there is any power coming from that wire at all and then my next suggestion after that is to find another wire to tap into for u'r A/F ratio gauge
Umm i tested the wire with a multimeter thats all I had..it registered 0v but the clock, as I said before, was working.
Sorry, but I dont know what a fluke meter or continuity tester is. I probably should find another place to get my power from. What's a good place to do that? I wouldnt be asking but I dont have a Helms yet.
Also, does anybody know what's labeled 'signal power' in the diagram below for my ecu? Would that be +12v switched?
