I have a 96 Civic coupe, when I was driving the radio just turned off and will not turn back on. It was an after market radio so I bought another one and it still does not work. I checked the red power wire and that is fine, but the yellow wire is only getting around 4 volts. Any idea what is going wrong? I replaced both the main and backuo radio fuses but it didn't fix it.

Did the new fuse blow? The "always hot" power for the yellow wire comes from the white and blue wire in the car, which comes from the fuse under the hood.

I also had a problem where the yellow wire wasn't getting power from the harness under the dash for some reason. I ran it directly to the radio fuse on the fuse box instead and it works great.
