Default having break up in boost

i went to the dyno my car made 300hp 300tq its a f22a holset hx35/hx40 hybrid 10-11 psi. I was very happy with those numbers but i wanted more so upped the boost to 15 psi pull good until 7000k gets rich 10:1 - 9.8 Afr pops and falls off fast. my compression is 8:1. the tuner that was helping me and others have told me that my final timing is to low for that compression. So i did not push it anymore I could have raised the timing but the guy that was letting me use the dyno does not tune hondas so i did not want to take his advice.the dyno is super cheap for me to use and 5 minutes from home. can you guys give me some advice on some things to check. i was going to look at the plug gap could it also be a ignition problem. I know its get fuel. the final timing is 15*@15psi on 93 oct fuel you think thats to low and causing break up

yes the very rich condition can cause the break up, you may even be richer then 10:1 to 9.8:1 as most wideband won't read richer then 9.8:1 heck most won't go lower then 10:1

i am guessing you have a wideband in your car?
are you using an ectune rtp setup?

definetly check plug gap for starters. the rich condition could also be a tune issue, no way to know without seeing the fuel maps.

The issue could be a lot of things. I.E. Plug Gap, Distributor etc.

First step to diagnosing the issue should be checking the plug gap & remove fuel from the tune so your air fuel ratios are not in the 10s.
