I installed a pioneer avh-3200dvd, but it does not save memory, like radio presets, gps locations, etc. My clock (on the dash, not on the head unit) is fine, replaced a blown fuse under the hood. Resets to 12:00 on the head-unit every time i start it up. any ideas? maybe the wiring is messed up? connect red and yellow wires together right? when i connect them separately, the HU stays on all the time. im thinking it has something to do with the yellow and red wires. i guess ill mess with it some more. 98 integra

 

yellow wire is constant 12v+. and red wire is 12v+ when the key is on.

yellow wire is what holds the memory by keeping constant power to the deck when the car is off.
