Default Innovate LC-1 issues... Confused

So i decided to try the Innovate LC-1 wide band ( usually a plx guy) installed the unit per the instructions and did the free air cal. and the heater cal. Well the issues i am running into are 1: the sensor reading on the gauge reads 22+ full lean and its not lean.. 2: when i turn on the key let it warm up it sits around 9.9 and reads nothing. anyone had this problem before. Do i have to get in to the firmware and calibrate something or these systems junk?!

Thanks
Russ

Make sure your grounds are placed like the instruccions tell you to put them. I know why i tell you this.

The grounds are connected to a single lug that is connected to the steel dash bar under the dash.. Nothing else is grounding to the those grounds.

try hooking up the lc-1 to a laptop using the serial cable. If its a ground offset issue it shouldn't affect the serial output.

That's why it doesn't work. I did the samething as you. Read the instruccions again and you will see why. The grounds go seprate.

ground for sure. i just set my lc1 up a week ago. Yea the aem one is easier to setup no calibrating and it doesnt matter where its grounded. My readings on the LC1 seem to bounce around alot more than with the aem one i had.
