as mentioned before check all your grounds to the temp gauge and to temp sensor possible cross short in wires when you turn your lights on the gauge reads it as if the sensor is putting out voltage . possible rear of dash sense it only goes half way its less than 12v dash if it was getting a 12 signal it would go all the way into red.

I had same problem before also. Grounds. It was my ground wire to the valve cover. I added extra grounds. Haven't had a problem since.

If it's electrical related on a honda, it's very likely a ground.

Old cars+corrosion=mucho problemo.

well thanks to everyone for the help, well this is what i did, i cleaned up all grounds in the engine, while i was there i changed the alternator cause it was going bad, i started it up and bang problem gone, and now my system doesn't turn off on me and my lights are alot brighter, also i had a problem that i forgot to post, before all of this i usto get a code 17 which is the viss sensor, but my speedo still work, but now i dont even get the cell anymore, could all these problems come from a bad alternator? well im very happy now, my si is running good again, so thanks to everyone

It could be a bad alternator. They can do funny things as well. But more likely it was your grounds.
