Default good compression ratio

I plan on building a poor man type-r engine soon. I've been messing with the compression calculator and I am looking at around 11 for the CR.

What's a good CR for street use? passing smog? pump gas?

any info is great from the Honda Gods ..... none of that BS talk

thanks again guys

Default Re: good compression ratio

what block and head are you using? a simple way to good poor man type r is a gsr block and a b16 head, you still be around 10 CR, which could pass smog.
11 CR you get when using pr3 piston on a ls block or civic type r piston (12 CR)
