Default b20z compression ????

I've read that the b20z found in the newer crv's has higher compression than the b20b's found in the old ones. Is this true? Would all b20z's have higher compression than b20b's? Would the compression ration change with a b16 head on a b20z block?

That is perfect, thank you very much. Does anyone know if the compression would still be 9.6:1 with a b16 head on it?

With the stock block, it's around the same.... 9.8:1 or so, nothing drastic until you change pistons.

yah around there, 10:1 to be exact, a b16 head will raise the compression by .4
a GSR head will raise the compression by .6

So if I have a b20 block with 10.5 JE's and a 1g b16 head, then my compression should be around 10.9:1?
