Alright I got 97 ek and I'm working on getting all my parts for my swap 1994 (b18c1).. Got everything but the throttle cable.. I heard 99-00 si cable will work or can I just use my stock one? It's a type r intake manifold btw.. One more thing about my ecu harness converter (0bd2a to obd1)... Will for fun I hooked up on my d16y7 and it started it to rev from 1-4 rpm I let it run for 2min n shut it off.. U guys think it's cus it's a ob2 motor? I tested my ecu on my bro eg n everything works good.. Ecu harness bad maybe I bought brand new? Help thanks

 

The D16Y7 uses a three wire Idle Air Control Valve (IACV), that only the stock ECU is setup to control. The OBD1 ECU is setup to run a 2 wire IACV, so that immediately causes a problem...

If you are using a GSR throttle body with the GSR throttle pulley, you will need a GSR throttle cable.

btw how are you using a Type R manifold on a GSR head? Is it aftermarket or a real type R manifold? because it wont work without some mods.

It's a type r throttle body on the shunk2 manifold.. So 99-00 si throttle cable?

Is that a for sure will work? If so, I'm heading to the dealer tomorrow to get it.. Anybody knows if I can use my stock throttle cable?

 

throttle cable and bracket from a 2000 si, together they are like $45 new from honda!! best way to go!
