Default Diversion™ 165 will it be enough

I'm new to welding and I planning on buying this tig machine soon. Unless someone has some good advise as to why i shouldent lol. My question is I plan on useing the tig machine for welding exhausts, intercooler piping, and turbo manifolds. Will this machine be enough.

try searching 'diversion 165' or 'diversion 180'
its been covered alot cause there are other factors that
effect choice like ur budget, available power source, usage i.e. weekend
hobby or shop work etc etc.

from what ive read u should aim for a welder that can push up to 200amps(at least) at a
descent duty cycle at least 30% or more.

also taking a class so u understand welding alot better is highly recommended.

I have a diversion and I love it. It does have it's draw backs like no real adjustbility other than heat input with the foot pedal. But I've built turbo manifolds, ic piping, even end tanks for an intercooler. For the price you can't go wrong if your budget allows. Just my 2 cents.

this is for home use for learning and my project cars. I will like I said do some exhausts and IC piping. Along with some turbo mani just becuase I want to learn and make them for fmy car. So it wont be used in a shop setting. I have a 230v plug And i'm willing to pay the price for a new one. My only consern is will it be enough.

I have one, and it's plenty enough for that kind of thing. It's a great little machine.

it would prolly be fine for automotive stuff except for intake manifolds.

I know toxic started with one, but has since moved onto a dynasty.
