LS w/ b16 cable tranny.
ls with a b16 tranny? No way. thats way too impossible. I don't even think its been done before. You probably are going to need an adapter plate or something. How bout you search before you ask such a basic question?
Simple answer yes.
I currently have a b18a1 obd0 from a 90 Integra.
Ran 15 sec quarter mile on some street slicks for one run, then the tires showed threads. Could have easily broken into 14's.
But its a good first swap, plenty of torque if your a torquey [not a word] guy.
And the douche bag award of H-T goes to the dude from Riverside.
I would expect So. Cal people to be much more friendly to fellow Southern Californians, but it seems my beliefs were wrong.

yeah douchebag poster is a douchebag. Id say LS on a b16 tranny is a good idea. personally id even go as far as to balance the rotating assembly and get some valve springs and valves so you can get more reliable power in higher RPM since youre gonna find yourself cruising down the highway at 3400 rpm going 70 mph

Hey thanks everyone for the responses.

The older and 1st gen cable B16 tranny's (Y1,S1) use a small spline mainshaft, same as any B series 1990-91 transmission
As far as Deathsquads useless list of bench racing data, spare us the "coulda, woulda, shoulda". Every motor runs different and personally that's not too impressive.
Now as far as will this work? Yes but it depends on what year and style of B16 tranny you use as stated before. Early model B16A's came with the Y1, S1, and J1 (Deetz you're slipping on me lol) It really doesn't matter though because they are all similar and run the same clutch. In which case these use the same clutches as a usdm 90-91 integra. 92-93 cables were YS1 and use the 92-93 integra clutch.
