How Important is this in rear suspension.92-95 eg
Now first off I know if it is there obviously it's because it is important. Today when I was re tightening my screws in the rear after doing a suspension swap, I broke one of the screws -_-. I am not sure if I should run vehicle like this but I did because it felt good still. The part that I am talking about is it comes from above and connects to the lower control arm, towards the center of the LCA. it has a couple bushings on there and I did not notice it was all the way tight and broke it. It seems to me that this is for support and stability. I will go have it fixed on Saturday because half of the screw is in the hole still. So my question is would this have a major impact till I change it on Saturday?
Death is a major impact to me...if you're trying to make it till saturday...get somebody else to drive you around for a bit or borrow a car. Tape some wiring together for a few days...cool whatever just cover it so you don't get a fire...drive around with bolts that are broken in your very important suspension...no bueno.
Is it not a bolt you can temporarily replace with something from a hardware store. Got a pic?

Nah it's not the bolt through the rear shock. It's is connected to sway bar. Tomorrow I will have it fixed. I went to the mechanic the same day, and he told me it was not urgent but have it fixed asap. Car has been running good. I will post a picture to give people a better Idea.

then who cares. next time mention its a sway bar bolt.
i thought it was the bolt going into the subframe at first. which would have been really no good.

Yeah your just broke the bolt on the saw bar end link. Eigther go to home depot and get another bolt that fits or just completly remove the rear sway completly. Your car will lean a little more in hard turns, but its not gunna hurt anything by removing it.
