EM1 rear lower control arm bushing question
I did a search and couldn't find anything EM1 specific about this issue.
Anyways, 2000 si, rear lower control arm bushing for the shock fork seized with the bolt. After the recommendation of an energy suspension dealer I ordered and received the wrong bushing replacement (EK and EG part) so I have already torched out the bushings in anticipation of the install procedure being the same. I have a few questions:
1) Is there any trick to do this in the garage or do I need to pull the LCA and take it into a shop to have it pressed in?
2)Is there a part number for an energy suspension replacement for just that bushing?
Thanks in advance

Re: EM1 rear lower control arm bushing question
if your replacing one bushing you should replace them all (3 per LCA) once you torch out the rubber you need to cut the steel ring with a reciprocating saw or hacksaw. be careful not to cut into the lca too much, when I do it i cut it once on each side and drive the 2 pieces out with a hammer and screwdriver. and dont use the EG bushings as the one that fits where the shock bolts up is longer than the one you need.
