1995 coupe, rad fan not turning on

Default 1995 coupe, rad fan not turning on

The cooling fan is not kicking on.. Swapped relays around being that its an a/c car and its still not working... could this be a bad fan? please let me know asap its on my buddy's car

Unplug the 2-wire fan switch on the thermostat housing and then jump the connector with a paper clip or short piece of wire. Does the fan now run with the key in ON(II)?

yep it works! is it the Coolant temp sensor thats bad?

First try bleeding the cooling system before replacing the ECT switch.

Well the system has been bled and its still not kicking on... He went ahead and replaced the ECT and its still not working, But the paper clip is lol

i put a fuse on the plug for the fan and works fine...

Sounds like you have not bled all of the air from the system.

Ok so now the Lower Coolant Hose is staying cold... Bad thermostat?

Theres no air in the system its not gargling like theres air in the system.. So would this mean that the T-stat is staying closed???

You won't know if there's air trapped in the cooling system until you do a thorough bleed. A bad thermostat could also cause the symptom you are having, although in this case the engine would overheat and the radiator fan would turn on.

it wouldn't kill you to just bleed the system again, too. coolant/water is cheaper than a new OEM t-stat.

well bleeding the system again didnt do it... replaced the t-stat and now its working... thanks for input guys....
