Default Overheating issue need help...
Ok i found out 2 problems, one was my thermostat went bad, replaced it but now my fan doesnt kick on. Had to have my buddy hot wire it to the battery so it can be on and my car doesnt overheat. What can be the issue with the fan that would make it not turn on when it needs to?

A blown fuse or a short in the wires..

u sure you bled the cooling system. sometimes when there is air bubble in the cooling system won't allow the fan switch to operate normally

there is the fan switch too. try replacing that

try replacing coolant temp sensor... located on thermostat housing
