i was putting my turbo back on right, and everything was going good, i put the oil feed line on the block its all working right so then i put it on the turbo side, and i stripped out the fitting as well as the 7/16 inverted flare adapter. Me and my friend tried to jimmy rig it with a silicon hose and 2 hose clamps, no dice. and to top it all off, in our hurried attempt at a test-run with the jimmy rigged line we forgot to put the oil filter back on which left my friends garage floor covered with 2 quarts of oil. So we just rolled it into the garage, where it sits until i can pick up another -4AN stainless steel braided hose w/ fittings.

Does anyone in the sacramento area know where to go to get a part quick like tognotis or something?

 

dude.. that sux. you gotta wait til tomorrow morning. your next best bet is goin to a shop that does turbo installs like motorsport dynamics.

tognottis stocks lots of earls parts. They usually have what I need... but sometimes have to order stuff. They are definately your best bet....

 

There is that Aeroquipe dealer right near school(SAc State). You may want to try them as well.
