trouble with revhard oil feed line. wrong fittings?
the 90 elbow fitting and the straight fitting they supplied me with doesn't seem to fit. it treads like 3/4 turn and it seems i might strip the treads. one side fits but the other doesn't. should i just force it in?

if you dont have a bsp thread adapter then it may do that. but you can thread 1/8 npt in the block. just take it slow. are you talking aboutinto the turbo or into the block?

well i got the golden eagle sandwich. and the tread seems to be the same as the turbo but i know i can force it in becuase its aluminum.
see the middle one. the nipple side works for both the oil feed line and it can be tread into the turbo. but the other side will not. should i tap it? what kind of tap should i use? because if i mess up then i have to get another set of fittings.

dont force the fitting in, take your time and get the right part at a hydraulic shop or something. Mcmaster.com has everything you could ever need.
Im still confused what part you are refering to? Tapping oil from the block or getting a fitting for your turbo housing?

hmm okay let me find some pictures. i have an lsvtec.
so i have my vtec line going to this
i am using the 1/8" NPT ( pipe ) port for my turbo oil feed source.
and this is where i am connecting it
the fittings don't fit into the sandwhich plate or the turbo. i don't know if its the right fittings they supplied me with. is it suppose to be that tight, to prevent it from leaking or something?

Re: (lucidvtec)
you most likely have the wrong fittings. The inlet hole may be metric or inverted flare. What kind of turbo is it? If I was you I would take it down to a hydraulic fittings shop and figure out what threads it is.
I thought that my fitting was 1/4" npt and I could only get it to thread on about 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn, I then took the turbo in and found out it was m12 x 1.5 metric.
