my opinion are gsr/itr blocks can probally hold the most if built right

Thinking about starting from the block and building up n want something that wont blow easily.

i say b18c1 or b18c they are strong motors. you can still pull good numbers from single cams and the cost would be cheaper too i just suggest boost build the block for boost so you can get the most hp. b16 is cool but i see them more for track. and the type-r is sort of pointless IMO because your going to be changing everything anyways so why pay for all the extras that youre not going to use.
thats just my opinion im sure others would disagree

If you're starting from the bottom up any block will make more HP than you'll ever need.

If you build it, any block will hold anything you will be trying. You don't sound like a professional driver, so pick your preferred block and go at it.

My bone stock ls made 480 but its all in the tune. I've seen k swaps make over 600

i agree^^ rsx type-s with the k-pro and a good tune can pull out good numbers even if they are stock a proper tune is very important
