so ive been doing tons of reading. and ive read that some people think that running flat faced exhaust valves and the traditional domed valves on the intake side.
this resuliting in better exhaust flow, better swirling of the air/fuel mixture.
any input?

The intake valves would be standard "dished" valves rather than domed. The dish "theoretically" creates a low pressure area underneath the valve head and helps draw the intake charge down around the valve head. The exhaust flows out of the cylinder, around the valve in the reverse direction to the way it enters. In that sense, the exhaust flows out around the valve head "easier" if the face is flat vs dished. The ideal exhaust valve face would be domed and is on some exotic cars. This is something that is paid more attention to in a NA motor. A boosted motor doesn't notice the difference so much.
