Default Real curb weight, engineless.

Official specs from Honda.com and dealer stickers are claiming as follows:

Curb Weight (lbs)
Base Model Manual: 2637
Base Model Auto: 2690
EX Model Manual: 2650
EX Model Auto: 2703

And the navigation adds 4 lbs to any weight.

Spoon is claiming to have shed 220lbs off the car's weight in their $8,000 "package", which would theoretically yield:

Base Model: 2417 lbs
EX Model: 2430 lbs

However, they also have NOT removed the hybrid components. This is what I am most curious about. Anyone else in a shop who has one of these and a scale have any numbers to share?

Looking for some real numbers, speculations I can make on my own. Thanks!

Bisimoto did some weighing. I can't remember the numbers exactly, but I believe it came to around what JonnyCoupe posted.

My source is the A2mac1 autoreverse system where every single part of a car is disassembled, photographed and weighed.

79lbs doesnt cover everything you can remove when removing IMA.

Mission Motors full IMA system including Battery + 12V output is 27Kg

Stock 16 inch wheel + tire is 15.5 Kg short stock nuts 32 g (verified)

I ordered :
OZ Allegeritta 17 inch + tire Conti Sport contact 3
i hope to have total weight wheel + tire under 14.6 kg.

I use aluminium 2024 alliage RAYS weight 23g

Rear seat + Back total weight is 8.7 Kg (easy to remove 3 nuts)
however this looks ugly w/o rear seats, i would like to have the US spec parts that fits in the rear seats place. ==> contact me. (i hope those parts are lighter)

Manual of the CR-Z in french indicate a weight of the rear battery pack NiMh of approx 100kg, however this is in the text to explain car balance, and not in a spec sheet.

The whole IMA system with battery and motor and everything is less than 100lbs?

That's a pretty fantastic hp/lb yield.
