97 civic, no power...

Default 97 civic, no power...

whats up ht, i have a 97 civic with a ls swap, car was running great up until today, go out to start the car put the key in the ignition and i have no power at all, thought it was the battery replaced it and still nothing, any ideas?

Do the hazard lights work? If not, clean and tighten the battery connectors, as well as the battery ground wire attached to the chassis.

check for any shorts in the battery wires i might suggest moving the ground wire for the battery to another location cause the same thing happened to me i moved it and the car started right up.

Check the battery ground like others have suggested, and make sure both + and - connections are solid and tightened.

Next, I would try moving the ground to a different location like Castillo847, as I've had friends do the same it work for their car.

Let us know what happens

Then the problem is either a dead battery, bad battery connectors, a bad battery ground, or a bad hood fuse box.

ok i got a test for you to try put a ground wire from the negative terminal from your battery to the top bolt on your distributor it is another ground that might help
