i got a 99 civic si as a daily and i was thinking about putting my greddy turbo kit on it. only problem i have is i live in ny and have to deal with the emissions bs. and i dont wanna convert it from obd1 to obd2 every year for inspection. so like my title has anyone used emanage and made it reliable? and i only plan on running like 8 psi just something to make it a little more fun to drive.

 

Sure. Done it for years. But you'll have more naysayers for E-manage than even CROME or CROME PRO. Depending upon where you are, find a reputable tuner that knows this system. I've used one on several platforms for years. I suggest e-manage Ultimate, and not the "blue box" version 1. You'll need the injector, ignition harnesses to go with it, but its fine.

And along come the naysayers below....

 

lol...a/f ratio out the tail pipe is a/f ratio out the tail pipe...timing is timing...if you can control it doesnt matter how you get it. The only thing im completely against is FMU and check valves.

 

ok good to know i just hear so much bad things about it and nothing that good

 

the other system you may want to look into is the AEM FIC....i prefer it over the greddy emanage
