Hey I have a 92 dx hatch. I have bought: 96 EX vtec head, intake manifold, fuel rail & injectors. 98 Distributor, cap rotor wires, 1993 vtec ecu from automatic (my car is auto), and a Apexi VAFC (just in case the ECU is wacked cause of the 96+ parts)
I'm about ready to install all this. But i do not know how to wire the Vtec solenoid to the ECU. Is there a website or anyone who knows about this? Also I looked at my 92 dist vs. the 98, has the same no. of wires and same colors, but the 98 has 1 big harness vs the 92 has 2 smaller harnesses. I am guessing I will have to cut the harness off my 92 and wire it in place of the 98's harness so I will be able to plug it into my wiring?? Other than that this swap isn't too hard, i hope.... right?? thanks,

all 92 civics are wired for vtec, so consider yourself lucky

 

well that will make life easier, so that meant I don't have to buy those little pins to put any extra wires into the ECU harness? all I need to know now is exactly which wires go to the vtec silenoid... anybody know what color wires I am looing for and which ones go where>?
