96 Civic: VSS and O2 sensor CEL codes -- Fuse 15 keeps blowing
I have a 96 Civic with a B18C1. I recently changed the alternator and my car is now giving me 3 Codes. Prior to changing the alternator, i did not have these CEL.
It's throwing 2 O2 sensor CEL. I plan on changing the O2 sensor soon but my question is more about CEL 17 VSS speed Sensor.
My dashboard works fine except for the speedometer lol. It doesn't move at all. I changed the fuse which i believe is #25 and still the same thing.
You guys have any ideas how to figure out wether the dashboard is messed up or if the sensor became damaged after i installed the new Alternator.

First thing i'd check is to make sure its been plugged up and that its seated properly. Then make sure your pig tails are seated all the way in on the gauge cluster. If you already replaced the fuse this would be my next step. Same with the 02 sensor.
Any ideas why it keeps blowing?
The codes are 20, 41. I managed to fix the VSS Sensor problem some how. But I'm trying to find the Culprit for my Electrical Overload some where.
Thanks any how
Yeah Ron i checked that out before i posted. I try to figure stuff out on my own with research until i get stomped. Then i come here to be saved by one of you guys. I checked all my wiring and made sure there was no short and i even re-taped some of them that looked shoddy.

I have encountered this problem when the heater circuit wires short together, on the secondary 02 I believe, I can't recall at the moment if it was primary or secondary. Regardless it was when the heater circuit wires made contact..
