EG - OIL PRESSURE LIGHT and low oil pressure with engine running
HELLO everybody,,,,,,,I was driving around with my car couple days ago,,,after 20 min of driving noticed the oil light flicking at first then it just went on,,,,I actually think the pressure might be too lean is that possible,,,,when starting the car at cold its right under 80 that seems right,,,,at idle it was 15-25 when hot,,,,but when the light went on it was 5 and hitting 0,,,,,,I don't think the gauge is broken,,,,timing is right on,,,,the distributor o ring leaks a tiny bit of oil but,,,only a drop or 2,,,,,,ANY IDEAS,,,,
poss bad sender or oil pump do you have a gauge and light ? if so how are they mounted ? i had a remote mount on my old ef and it would collect moisture in the line and mess up the sender take off the line clean it out it would be good again.
oil pump and water pump new,,,yes I have a 3 pillar gauge,,
I used this link as my guide

well from the back of the block,,,,running a obx braided steel feed ,,,and a obx oil restrictor,,,,yea but would it be the one next to the coolant temp sensor,,,or the one in the back?????
there is only one oil pressure sensor unless you consider the one on the vtec solenoid but if your mechanical gauge says 0 and your light is on then you have a problem with oil pressure not a sensor
When mine had this same issue , it ended being spun bearings. The op light would flicker while comming to a stop then go away while moving.
If none of the simple ideas turn out to be true then drain the oil and pull the pan....check for bearing shavings
