Oil pressure
Does anyone know what sensors (if any) control oil pressure on a b18c engine. Or is the oil pressure control done in the pump ? I have a problem with my car . The oil light wont go off and its building no oil pressure at all. Thanks in advance

Re: Oil pressure
The oil pump is on the crank, so as the car revs, then the oil pressure should go up. If you are using a gauge, then it could be the gauge is either hooked up wrong or broken.

Re: Oil pressure
The pressure is controled by the pump and rpm but if ur light is on and u have no pressure on a gauge then ur pump went out or u have a major internal oil leak, if u have oil in the engine that is too. If u r just going by ur oil light then make sure the engine is full of oil and if it is then ur OP sending unit maybe faulty or unplugged.
