what is the best way to get the most horsepower out of a d16y8?:
naturaly asperated with cold air intake,ecu, cam, high compression pistons, intake manifold (ported and polished), injectors, header (ported and polished) with full exhaust system
or
turbo with stock intternals and 12lbs TOPS, ecu, cold air intake, header and full exhaust system

 

turbo > NA
But you have no clue about either, its obvious. do some research and come back with better questions.

You either hand it over to a shop and say I want this and that or you read a few books/articles and say to yourself I need this and that.

 

build the transmission, worry about getting more power to the tires before worrying about more air and fuel.

Well if your planning on doing it yourself, read lots about it! Because by your first post, im not sure....

 

get gx pistons in a d16a6 block and put ur y8 head and y8 cam and intake mani on it. or maybe sum cb600 itbs on it

 

you're out of your league if you think you can put a CAI and a header on a turbo car.

That said, you'll get more gain out of 12psi than you'll get with $8K going N/A on a d series.

 

put nos to it lol, or buy nice roods pistons APR studs, and gasked and can safely boost 10psi lol
