Not to be a dick or anything but you should have looked everything over before going out with your car.

I've had the same thing happen but with a fuel line, it was for a carb car and not a fuel injected car.

Hopefully everything is okay.

i got the proper OIL hose this time from local parts store.
the motor starts up . took it out for a little drive..
it doesnt have much power and.. it does sounds like spun bearing..
the motor is done.

i wish left my car stock. !!!!

this is my B20 vtec not ITR motor.
but i blew the itr motor 2 years ago and. instead of fixing the block. i got a b20 block last year..
put it all together . the B20V had oil leak issue. i drove the car for less than 2000 km last year.

i try to fix the oil leak issue this year and got the oil cooler hooked up. and the filter relocation kit. after about 2 weeks. the motor is done again.

i dont have any more money or time to put into this caR.

i have spent so much money and work im about to give up.
..........
time for a 4X4 pick up truck

i'm gonna have to fix the B18C5 block.
i was running CTR pistons.
i need some input on good piston/rod combo.
just going n/a around 11.0.
should i save myself some money and get RS machine JDM itr spec pistons? or go with forged ones?
i'm not trying to make my car superfast or anything. just need this thing going.
i have RM M22XX cams now. so i still need around 11 cr.

Don't give up it's still a -R- remember that . YOU will hate ur self for selling that -R- and buying a truck to drive . Just my experience from what I've done in the past !!! And I hated myself untill I got another -R - to enjoy workin on again no matter how many times things have to be fixed it's worth it in that ride. And always will be worth it .......Sorry to hear about ur motor though . shitty . What did you do with the original B18C5 ? And what year and color u got ?

LOL good luck suing summit for selling you "the wrong" hose.

Too funny, you guys are unreal.

You ordered a part, if it was the wrong part you should have sent it back, not installed it on your car!

he recommended this hose for the oil filter relocation application.
he said, that is the hose he is using for HIS oil filter relocation kit.

so i assumed that it would be ok to use it.

this is how the "ordering" conversation went.

i found a relocation kit i wanted on their website which already had the RIGHT hose. and it wasn't in stock.
he gave me another relocation kit which they had in stock that didnt have the hose included. so i asked him i need a hose for this. i found one myself (OIL hose) which they did not have in stock again.. he again gave me the hose they had in stock . which was the heater hose that blew up.
but i'm not trying to sue them. they did say they would give me a real good deal if i needed anything.
