I was thinking about it awhile back but I don't think it's worth it. Just chill while your car is cooling down. No biggie.

Not worth it.
The reason for a turbo timer is to let the oil circulate through the turbo and not "coke up", after a bit of hard running (since the turbo's innards are HOT and spinning at a couple 10's of thoudands of RPM.

There's nothing comparable to that in shutting down an N/A motor.

why do we need to cool down our n/a's? it's not like we have IC, so it wont cool much, or at all. just take it easy after some hard driving with the heater on.

Just don't run your car up to redline and shut it off. Besides that you'll be fine. If you're worried just let it set for a few seconds at idle.

on the note of this subject, i have an alarm with autostart and it allows me to run the engine for however long i want. well every since i installed my new header and testpipe, the autostart feature doesn't work. all it will do is try to start but the engine doesn't fully rollover. is it because my O2 sensor isn't plugged into the testpipe or is it something else?
