dizzy placed in 180 out..
Putting it in the wrong way has been known to break off one of the drive tabs but it sounds like yours is ok, you have a different problem, not saying its not in the dizzy though, there are cheap caps and rotors that dont work well, that goes for non NGK spark plugs too, same with cheap wires, could be many things.
Clean the IAC and the entire throttlebody too.

Yeah, you really can't put them in 180 out. Honda is smart, and knows that techs are stupid. They made it unpossible to screw it up too much.
Might just be out of time.

The only thing i can think of (since i dont understand what your trying to say)..... is did you fully remove the distributor to replace the rotor?
If yes:
1) Why in gods name would you do that?
2) If you didnt screw the distributor back in at the EXACT same place, then your ignition timing is off.
If no: disregard what I wrote.
x2..... you cant put it any way but the right way. Its 100% dummy proof.

There are posts of folks stating that the dizzy can go in 180 out, I have even seen it myself, yes, you have to push hard, people do it, and they dont break.
Is the ignition timing adjustable? And is this the first time it's been started since it was swapped? There are plenty of reasons why it won't idle, especially if you just now got the whole swap running
engine has been running fine for the longest time...
all thats happened is i changed dizzy rotor...and now it dies at idle...
i swear thats all i touched.
even know when i drive it down the street, runs great...but when it gets back to idle...dies..

yip. every thing was running top notch...slight burps..but thats because i know i need a tune...nothing too noticeable. and again, even now, i car drive the car and u cant even TELL the car dies at idle...everything is still smooth.
