Default del sol overheating help

just rebuilt a d16z6 and it ran fine for 3 weeks and now its starting to overheat on me but it didnt start overheating until i started playing around moving the distributor i never used a timing light. I replanced thermostat water pump and everything possible to make it overheat. But it ran fine until i moved the distributor so maybe thinkn if i moved it back it will quit overheating. Reason i havent moved it back yet is cuz im outta town workin lol

no the car does not go back to normal temp when i am driving i have taken the thermostat completely out and its still overheating i havent replaced the waterpump yet i meant to put i was going to and yeah my fan works i got it hooked up to a toggle switch and run it all the time and i have been using water instead of coolant because its to expensive for it to just keep overflowing the resivour when i get it fixed ima use coolant ive bled the system but havent bled it since ive moved the distrubotor back so maybe i wil try that tm i just hope it aint my head gasket it has never gotten real hot soon as it starts to get hot ive turned it off there aint no water in my oil and it runs fine until it overheats any ideads
