Default Sleeving, some questions

open or closed deck? Which is better, what are the pros & cons?

Brand? which one is the best bang for the buck? Golden Eagle is out of the game, cause they don't ship their sleeves.

I have a B18C5, how large can I go with the displacement to be safe? 1.9, 2.0 litre?

Where to get some JE pro series 9:1 oversized pistons, are they in stock anywhere?

What else so I have to take care when I sleeve the block? Do I need a different head gasket, how about the head studs, etc......

Aw, you don't want to ship your motor to the states and back? It can't cost that much!

I make now 370whp and wanted to stay there. Nut since I need new pistons anyway I whought on sleeving the block to 2.0 litre. This ar is my daily driver.

The hp question is not as important than reliability. My eninge is already built with eagle rods, crower valve springs & ti retainers, JE pro series 9:1 pistons, Haltech eCU, 720cc injectors, cam gears, etc.........

hehe, ARP head studs are already installed. Can I use the stock head gasket, or does bigger sleeves require a different head g?

I use benson/darton open deck sleeves on my race motor. Jojo Callos uses open deck on his race motors. Venom uses open deck on their motors as well. I think its the better all around design....Mike
