93 Civic, cold start everytime, idles at 1500RPM

Default 93 Civic, cold start everytime, idles at 1500RPM

So my Civic is cold starting everytime i start it, even when its warmed up. and idles at 1500RPM. so what should i be looking for ? thanks Chris

does your throttle body have a fitv? if so, it may be causing your high idle.

IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) Could be the problem. Sometimes you can take it off and clean it out and it will work fine.

thanks for the tips. I figured out it was my throttle body sticking. i took it apart and cleaned it once before. if i lift up on the gas peddle it comes down to the right idle. i have a new one TB i just got to put it on, thanks again.
