just put back together from throttle body/intake manifold cleaning.

i put everything back together, new gasket.

starts up, idles fine. give it gas, idle is jumping from about 900-1250. at 1250 gas cuts out and it "falls" back down to 9. what gives?

On the F motors, it is on the bottom of the throttle body.

well, is the h motors in the same place, if so sure... are we talking a harness/sensor or a manually controlled valve?

 

I think it is an electronically controlled valve.

 

whats the plug connecter that plugs into the back side of the throttle body? my friend told me, but i be forgotten. is that what yer refering too?

That may be for the MAP sensor.

 

not, thats not my MAP, i know exactly where that is. is it the TPS (throttle position sensor) ? it connects right to a plug on the TB.

 

That's it.

 

you think its just reading all crappy cus i cleaned everything out? does it need to have like at least a lil gunk?
