Guide Me Thru This Please (SOHC CRX)
This Is My First Honda And First Thread So Here I Go........... I Traded My Beautiful Truck Late 2009 For An 88 Crx hf
With A d15b7 Already Swapped From A 92 Civic And A p28 Ecu
......Drove It For A While (With A BS Tag
) And Then One Day Hauling *** Around A Turn, My Battery(Located In The Back) Flipped Over(Acid Everywhere) And The Car Died And Wouldn't Start. So I Flipped It Over And Beat It With A Screwdriver And It Started Right Up And I Headed Home. Next Day I Hopped In And Tryed To Start It, But It Just Made A Loud Clicking Noise. So I Investigated Just To Find That The Starter Had Cracked In Half!
So Me Not Knowing What To Do, I Just Started Taking Everything Apart.
Now Here Is My Problem. I Got A New Starter And Battery And I Need The People Of HT To Guide Me Thru Putting The Head,Starter,Wires,Etc. Back On The RIGHT WAY.I Am Really Excited To Start Building This Car And Learning Everything There Is To Know About Hondas. I Fell In Deeply Love With This Car And I Just Want To Drive It Again. So Please Help. P.S This Is What Ive Done So Far......(Striped It)
...(Removed That Nasty Body Kit
.....And Started Paintin

One question. If you are an expierenced mechanic then what would tell you to remove a starter by taking the manifold and valve cover off? lol
Either way the starter removal is not that hard you already have the battery in the back you just need to unplug the single wire, unbolt the 12mm power then remove the 2 14mm bolts and out she comes.
